Bywater Bakery was born in 2017 out of a love for baking, a love for New Orleans, and a belief that good food brings people together. Tucked into the heart of the Bywater neighborhood, we've become exactly what we hoped to be: a gathering place for our community, where everybody is welcome and there's always something delicious coming out of the oven.

Come for a morning coffee and a pastry. Stay for the conversation. Grab lunch with a friend, pick up a cake worth celebrating, or swing by with your four-legged sidekick for a treat at our outdoor window.

Our Bagel Friday lines start early (and move fast!). Our King Cakes have earned a little New Orleans fame. And that Berry Chantilly Cake you've fallen in love with? Yep, that's our baby.

We're a little sweet, a little savory, and a whole lot of New Orleans.
